Glee Lovers Here

Just a quick post, I love Glee so much! We watch it every week ever since the first episode and I can't help but to love it and sing along with it and yes, I eventually end up rewatching them! This is in my all time favorite top 2 preformances of this show, it's so good! "Be your teenage dream tonight" Love it! Love living vicariously through this show, I so wish it were my life in high school!

Time is rolling on and life is rolling right along with it! Yesterday was our official 1 month anniversary, it seems so small compared to 8 years of loving each other but still, celebrating never gets old! Rachel started her new job yesterday as a perioperative RN and UCI. I have never seen/ been a part of a more amazing hospital and the benefits are incredible, by far the best hospital around! I feel blessed to be a part of their periop team. We have a robot called The DaVinci that surgeons use to preform Urological surgeies ! It's a little overwhelming but we will learn and we will be great Rn's once we are done with our training program. This is a picture of my homemade pizza. The dough was even homemade ! It was a 2 hour event, I got a little stressed attempting to flatten the dough out after we had already flattened and then balled it up again. Note: After you roll the dough out DONT start over, just keep it flat, folding it over onto itself is a disaster...

It's Another Boy!

Once again we heard the ultrasound technician say, "It's a boy!" We were so excited when we were heard those three words! Of course we said things like, "Oh, it doesn't matter, we just want a healthy baby" and "We don't care what the sex is, either way we are happy" which are somewhat true.  However, to say that we were secretly wishing it were a little boy is an understatement! How exciting is it going to be to see Kai grow up with a little brother only 20 months apart.  They'll be the best of friends and the biggest enemies at times.  But the fact that our children are going to have a playmate for life is so exciting!  We were also hoping to be able to use all of our boy stuff again.  We received so many boy clothes weather it be through hand me downs, gifts, or (let's face it) my obsession with shopping for Kai!  I just could not imagine never getting to reuse those things.  Especially because most of the the clothes Malakai has grow...

Feeling Inspired!

I am feeling inspired today! I love making homemade baby food for my beautiful boy! I really can't say enough about the huge advantage making your own baby food is. The price alone is an immediate seller. I buy organic, locally grown produce and spend about 15-25 dollars which lasts me at least a month. If we were buying the same amount of jarred organic baby food we would be spending about 100 dollars a month. Big difference! I also love knowing exactly what goes in my son's (cute) little tummy. No preservatives, no food dye, and no processed food for him. Another big plus is that I can introduce him to flavors and foods that are unique and typically not found in your average baby food. Currently, I am steaming some yams, zucchini, chicken, green beans and rosemary-all certified organic and yummy of course. I call it "R oast Chicken Dinner" - fancy huh? I will then dish them into my BPA free ice cube holders and freeze. After that, I'll make yams, peaches, pears ...
