The Riley 5 These Days
Life is crazy! Crazy good, crazy busy, crazy all the time! March was a wonderful month, we celebrated Chad turning 30 the whole month long. Started off with a great trip to Disney's Aulani Resort in Oahu. Our first vacation as a family of 5. We all had a blast. If you haven't been, you should make it a goal to travel there someday. It is not Disney overload, it is tastefully luxurious and made for families of all ages. The Gutierrez family came out for a visit next which was a blast! Topped off his birthday month with a Luau at The Four Seasons Hualalei (a gift from my parents). And lots of celebrating in between!
Kai finished up the Tee Ball season last month. He has a blast and we look forward to watching him play next year. He is now back to swimming and in soccer. We are trying to coax Elijah into playing soccer with him, he's still a little unsure. Everyday I get to spend at home with my babies is a gift! They are growing so fast and we are trying to enjoy every moment (even the tough ones) with our family of 5. There is hardly any downtime in our lives these days, but Chad and I try our best to have dates or at least one less child for some outings. I never thought I would say going out with 2 kids is easy, but ever since we've had 3 we really appreciate when we have at least one less. The boys enjoy it too, so we try to trade off special days to spend with each of them. Chad is doing great at work, he just had his one year anniversary at his job. SO crazy that we have been here more then a year. We are beyond thrilled with our decision to move, Hawaii is home. We love the simple, beautiful life here. The boys get to grow up on a giant playground with so much to explore and discover, and are fortunate enough to live in a place so highly desired by many to visit. We love the untouched beauty of this land and the wide open spaces. It does my heart good to see them play with each other in paradise! Aloha!
