The Life of Riley

Well it sure has been a wonderful year! We have been blessed beyond what we deserve. Here are some highlights from the last 12 months... January- Chad and I took a trip to Napa Valley where we enjoyed a long weekend of wine tasting and fine dining! We had a blast. Here we are at Far Niente, one of our favorite tours and tastings. February- We found out we were pregnant! Quite a bit of shock at first but after reality set in we were so excited! March- Chad turned 25! I surprised him and took him to Vegas. A second surprise- our friends Courtney and Jason met us there! April- Deja Vu! Bre turned 21 so we headed to Vegas again! We stayed at the Encore hotel and had a blast living it up! May- We had our 20 week ultrasound and found out we were having a boy! Chad was relieved- to say the least! ;) June- We were on the Newlywed Game Show June 30th and won the grand prize! An all expenses paid trip to Costa Rica! We will be traveling there in June of 2011 with Kai and are thrilled to go for f...

What an awesome Thanksgiving we had! It all started Thanksgiving Eve- Chad passed his Electrican Test, Yay! We later went down to Debbie and Rene's beach house were we would be staying the rest of the week while they camped in Oceanside. We were so grateful to spend time at this piece of paradise on earth! Kai loved the ocean! Falling asleep to the sound of the waves is something we all could get used to! ;) Kai with Aunt Bre Thanksgiving day. Happy boy! This is the seal that ventured up on the beach right out front of the house. He was just hanging out, checking us out and resting on the rocks for a couple hours. So fun! There is so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving- the gift of our precious son is obvious, but we are also grateful for our God who loves us in spite of all of our sins, our family who support us and encourage us, our friends who bless our lives and bring us happ...
